Policies

1. TERMS OF USE

I’m so thrilled that you want to use a Thoresby Cottage pattern. Please, however, take note of the Terms of Use:

You are welcome to use patterns and tutorials found on this blog for personal use, but do not republish or redistribute any of my blog post content, patterns, or tutorials in any form (including translations) without prior permission, nor use them for commercial purposes. You may sell items that you make yourself (i.e. on Etsy, at craft fairs) from my patterns but I ask that you link back to my blog and provide credit for the pattern. You may not sell my patterns or claim them as your own and you may not mass produce any items.

The images and content of Thoresby Cottage are protected by copyright laws and may not be modified.  If you would like to share an image (e.g on Pinterest), please link it back to the Thoresby Cottage website or appropriate social media platform.  You are always welcome to link to my blog or share my work as part of a round-up post, however, you must include a single link back to my original post.

Please do not share digital copies of patterns purchased. If your friend or family member is interested in creating that same piece, please direct them to thoresbycottage.com to purchase their own copy of the pattern. Remember that sharing the pattern is considered theft and disrespectful to the pattern designer.

2. AFFILIATES DISCLOSURE

Thoresby Cottage contains some affiliate links. This means that if you click on an affiliate link and purchase something directly from the retailer via that link, I may receive a very small commission (at no additional cost to you) from the retailer. For example, Thoresby Cottage is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Thoresby Cottage is also an affiliate for Etsy via Awin. Affiliate links allow me to keep on producing content and maintaining this site. I will only ever post links to materials and supplies that I love and fully endorse!
