Don't you think they would be so cute as a little Easter brooch or as a decoration on a card? There is a little bit of sewing and embroidery involved, but these bunnies are small so they work up quickly. Are you team cat or dog? I've always leaned more t Are you team cat or dog? I've always leaned more towards team dog actually (cat lovers don't hate me!). Growing up I had dogs and now we have a cairn terrier called Lily Buttons. She is a fierce defender of our lawn, against squirrels and guinea fowl, and the sweetest little (scruffy) presence in our home. Even though I'm more of a dog person, we used to have a big, old cat called Felix. He was a huge, black and white gentleman of a cat, who wormed his way into my heart. I cried buckets the day he died! He definitely upped the score for team cat 🐱🐶💕 . It feels a bit weird posting about a scarf when th It feels a bit weird posting about a scarf when the days are getting longer and warmer here.... but I know lots of you have it the other way around at the moment, so I hope you enjoy this little pattern! I crocheted it with two strands held together, which gives a lovely speckle to the finished project. If you haven't tried this technique, then give it a go! . The pre-balled, two tone yarn that I used seems to be discontinued, but you can have loads of fun picking different yarns to do this project. Crochet and cake ~ what a winning combo! We've ha Crochet and cake ~ what a winning combo! We've had builders all week. Stress much! So when I heard that a new @chateau_gateaux CakeAway (take away for cake🍰) shop had opened up in our neighbourhood, I was first in line for a little comfort treat. Quite literally first in line, haha! I had to wait a bit in the car for them to open the doors...😬. The Mozart cake was delicious! It has layers of Japonaise (soft meringue with seasonal tree nuts) and hazelnut praline cream, topped with fine chocolate shavings. Yum! Pair that with some crochet time and I'm a much happier camper. Do you have a favourite go to treat or thing to do when you are feeling frazzled? Tell me! .
