Polka dot granny square | Free crochet pattern

I have so many people asking for patterns for simple, modern granny squares that can be used alongside all my 3D granny squares and I have finally got my act together to share a new one with you, the polka dot granny square!

Having a simple granny square pattern in your stash is essential for any granny square loving crocheter. Plain, uncomplicated squares are not only easy to work up, but they provide a supporting role to all the decorative squares, helping to make them pop!

This polka dot granny square pattern is compatible with all of my 3D granny square projects, but would also look super worked up together into a blanket or even a bag or garment.
