Christmas bauble crochet pattern | Free crochet pattern

It’s Christmas soon, one of my favourite seasons! Every year I try and acquire a new ornament for our Christmas tree. I’ve collected quite a few over time, and while my ornament collection perhaps isn’t the most cohesive, each one has a special memory for me. Some of them have been bought on special family holidays, others have been given to me. Some of my most precious ones have been hand made.

I love how this Christmas bauble crochet pattern work up quickly and look so lovely. I think the small ones in particular would look adorable tied onto a gift wrapped in brown paper. This pattern is very simple and can be embellished in so many different ways using pretty coloured embroidery threads, beads and other sparkles.

The instructions don’t say to slip stitch at the end of the row? Is it a spiral?
